“One day I went to buy some things in a stationary store in Valencia, and I saw a little book ….. and I bought it immediately. It turned out to be about Le Corbusier, whose work was a discovery for me. ……. As a result of buying it, I transferred to architecture school. Philip Jodidio, Calatrava, Complete Works 1979-2009.

Pasti bukan hanya Tadao Ando dan Calatrava yang menemukan cita cita mereka menjadi arsitek lewat buku. Pasti masih banyak lagi. Lalu, jika memang begitu pentingnya peran buku dalam arsitektur, mengapa sedikit sekali buku arsitektur di Indonesia?. Mengapa, bagaimana dan mau kemana publikasi arsitektur kita sekarang ini?

Dalam rangka peluncuran buku “50 INDONESIAN ARCHITECTS + EMERGINGS” , Imelda akmal Architectural Writer Studio menyelengarakan Round Table Discussion and Seminar dengan topik :
